City Police Beat

On November 14, 2015 police arrested a 32-year-old male in relation to a domestic investigation involving his 30-year-old girlfriend.

On November 12 city police received a report of a break and enter to a garage on Admiral Drive. The break and enter occurred in the last two weeks. Tires and rims with an estimated value of $5,000 were taken. Shortly before 6 a.m.

On November 5, 2015 City Police arrested two adults [suspected of] shoplifting from a local department store. Further investigation revealed that there were also dated charges outstanding for similar charges.

On November 10, 2015 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. an unknown culprit broke into an apartment on Bay Street and stole an Acer laptop computer and a 27 inch Insignia TV. On November 10, 2015 between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

On November 9, 2015 at 3:40 p.m., police arrested a 43-year-old male at a hilltop store. It is alleged that the accused entered the store and concealed $138 worth of meat.

35 year old Gwendolyn Nadon of St. Georges Ave. turned herself in to City Police today on an outstanding warrant for mischief. It is alleged she damaged a phone at the Sault Area Hospital on June 20th.

At 4:15 P.M. on November 07, 2015 City Police arrested a 34 year old male for breaching his domestic related probation. It’s alleged that the accused communicated with his girlfriend in contravention of a Probation order.

On 05 November 5, 2015 at 12:26 City Police arrested a 31-year-old male regarding a domestic related breach. It’s alleged that the accused attended at the residence of his girlfriend on November 4 in contravention of a bail condition.

On November 2 officers from Investigation Services arrested and charged a 20-year-old male with numerous charges in relation to domestic violence against an ex-girlfriend.
