On June 15, 2014, city police responded to a domestic matter in the west end of the city. Police investigated a complaint of criminal harassment involving a 57-year-old accused male.

Afternoon news On the 15 June 2014 police responded to a two vehicle collision in the 200 block of Second Line West at about 4:15 AM. On arrival, police noted one of the drivers had been consuming alcohol and made a roadside demand.

At 10:30 this morning a 36 year old Sault man turned himself in to the city police. The accused was wanted for 3 counts of breaching his probation in relation to a domestic incident.

Late yesterday afternoon city police attended at a residence on Wayne Court for an attempt break and enter. The attempt occurred during the daytime hours and entry was not gained. On June 12, 2014 at approximately 4:20 p.m.

On the 12th of June 2014 at 8:00am the TBooth business at the Station Mall at 293 Bay Street was broken into. Items taken include three laptop computers. The investigation is ongoing.

Thefts from cars Several vehicles were entered overnight. Vehicles in the 700 block of Wellington Street West, the 80 block of Laura Street, the 500 block of Sherbourne Street and in the 40 block of Softwood Drive were entered.

Police attended seven noise complaints overnight. In addition, officers attended for several bear calls in the city’s west end. A bear was spotted in the housing complex at 710 Second Line West, in the parking lot of Mrs.
