A break and enter was reported to the compound of River City Sports on Great Northern Rd. Snow Machine parts were reported stolen. Theft from a vehicle in the 400 block of Old Garden River Rd. A watch, cigarettes and change were reported missing.

On the 10th February, 2015, police arrested 23-year-old Jestin Ryan of Fairview Avenue. It is alleged that between December 21, 2014 and December 23, 2014 the accused was unlawfully in possession of a MasterCard credit card.

On February 9th City Police officers received a complaint from a resident on Charles Street that a male known to the homeowner had broken into his house, stole a bottle of liquor and fled the area.

Sometime overnight between the 6th and 7th of February, a window at Rowe’s Baber Shop on Queen Street East was broken. Entry was not gained.

A 16 year old male was arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000. It is alleged the male wrote graffiti on a building located on Second Line West on the 12 of January. He will appear in court on March 17.

On February 6, 2015 at 3:00 pm Heather Leblanc, age 34 of Willowdale St., turned herself in for Failing to Appear Court. She was arrested and charged with this offence. She will appear in court on March 9th.

Yesterday morning officers from Patrol Services arrested and charged a 36-year-old male with one counts of breach of release documents in relation to a prior domestic.

45 year old Ernie Caputo was arrested and charged with breach of recognizance and breach of probation. It is alleged that on February 3 the accused attended at an address on Great Northern Rd while he was on conditions to stay away from that address.

On the 31st of January a garage on London Street was broken into. An 18 volt Mastercraft Drill was taken. On the 31st of January a garage on Nichol Avenue was broken into, but nothing appears to have been taken.

On February 1, 2015 officers from the Crime Suppression Unit located and arrested 39 year old William Brett Barkley of Wellington Street East, Sault Ste. Marie.
