On the 21st of February at approximately 11:30 p.m., patrol officers checked a vehicle on Second Line East in the area of the Water Tower Inn with two male occupants.

Sometime during the overnight of February 20th, 2015 unknown persons broke into a business located in the west end of the city.

Friday, February 20, 2015

On Friday February 20th 2015 drug enforcement officers conducted a traffic stop in the west end of the city. As a result of the stop a female and a male were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

On the 14th of February City Police patrol officers investigated a theft from a residence in the 700 block of Pine St. Among the items stole was a Samsung Plasma television.

In the early morning of February 18th patrol officers received a call regarding a possibly impaired female leaving the Sault Area Hospital operating a vehicle. Officers were able to locate the vehicle in the area of Black Road and Second Line.

On February 17, 2015 Sault Ste. Marie Police officers arrested a 13 year old young offender after residents of the home where the accused was staying contacted police. It is alleged that the accused became upset and began to smash items in the home.

On February 16, 2015 Sault Ste. Marie Police officers arrested 21-year-old Matthew Parise and 22-year-old Dillion Quesnel both of Goulais Av. It is alleged that the two accused broke into a west end apartment and assaulted the occupant.

On February 15 at approximately 2:00 a.m. police were called to a residence in the city's west end for a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that a 26 year old male allegedly assaulted his wife by slapping her.

On the February 14, 2015 at 1: 30 A.M. Officers attended to a residence in the 100 block of Wellington St. E in regards to a domestic disturbance. Subsequent to an investigation, a 20 year old male was arrested for assault with a weapon.

27-year-old Keith Hazzard of Searchmont turned himself in to city police on February 12 as a result of being wanted on a fail to appear court charge from January 27. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on March 16.
