City Police Beat

A rock was thrown at a window at a local business in the 200 block of Trunk Road causing approximately $900 damage. A vehicle in the 40 block of Wiber Street was scratched causing damage to the entire body.

At approximately 4 pm on the 4 th of June a 16-year old female left the open secure facility in which she had been sent to. A short time later the female turned herself into the City Police. She has been charged with one count of escape custody.

Break and Enters and Thefts: Between June 2 nd at 6:00pm and June 3 rd at 7:00pm a break and enter occurred in the 100 block of Albert Street East. Entry was gained through an unlocked window and stolen were tools and a television.

A youths 4 Wheeler ATV was taken from the 100 block of Black Road. The 4 Wheeler is orange in colour. * * * A black Dodge Caravan attended at the Shell Station on Great Northern Road and put $68.

Arrests/Charged Persons: Update: March 7, 2014 Yesterday, Dustin Kirk Middaugh was found not guilty of resisting arrest and failing to identify himself to an officer of the law Original release: June 1, 2013: At approximately 1 p.m.

Afternoon release: Solar lights were reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Bush Street over night. * * * A break and enter was reported to a residence under construction in the 300 block of MacDonald Avenue.

A 50 year old male was charged with 2 counts of breach of a recognizance after police attended an east end address at 1:40 today for a domestic dispute.

Afternoon news: Break and Enters: Break and enter to a business in the 700 block of Trunk Road. A quantity of beer was taken. The break-in occurred overnight.

Afternoon release: On May 28, 2013 at 11:45 a.m. City Police attended at a local group home and arrested and charged a 16 year old female with threatening bodily harm to an adult worker. The youth will be appearing in court on July 9, 2013.
