Evening news: 20 year old Gunner Shaganash of the 700-block of Mackenzie Avenue turned himself in on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear court. It is alleged that he failed to appear court on December 16, 2013 on an outstanding charge.

On January 14, 2014 , at 4:00 a.m. , City Police attended in the east end of the city regarding a domestic disturbance. The investigation revealed that a 37 year old male had assaulted his partner by allegedly punching her in the face.

On the 12th of January 2014 shortly after midnight officers attended at a west end residence for a domestic dispute. It is alleged that a 47 year old female and her common law spouse were involved in a verbal argument that escalated.

On January 12, 2014 at 12:45 a.m., City Police attended at a residence in the west end of the City in regard to a domestic disturbance. The investigation revealed that a female had [allegedly] accosted her boyfriend with a knife.

23-year-old Joshua Tadashore of Macdonald Ave. was arrested and charged with one count of operating a motor vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol.

Evening news: On January 10, 2014, 37 year old John Crawford Currie of the 300-block of Albert Street West was arrested for one count of assault. It is alleged he attended at R. J.’s Market at 238 Wellington Street West at 2:00 p.m.

38-year-old Christine Miller of Portage Lane was arrested by City Police last night on outstanding warrants from June 2012. It is alleged she failed to attend court on 3 separate counts of breaching conditions of her probation.

Evening news: Break and Enter reported in the 600 block of Second Line West. The incident occurred between January 7 and 8. Two televisions, a laptop and old currency went missing.
