Morning news At approximately 4:15 this afternoon Sault Ste. Marie Police responded to a report of a male lying in the grass in the area of 770 Great Northern Road repeatedly pulling his pants down.

Afternoon release: At approximately 1:40 this morning 22 year old Donald Bussineau was arrested in the area of Wawanosh and Reid Streets. Mr. Bussineau was charged with breaking into a garage and shed in the 100 Block of Wawanosh Street.

Arrests/Charged Persons: On May 22, 2013 it is alleged that the accused was in possession of a stolen cheque that had been taken in a break and enter.

Afternoon release: Two guests staying at the Quality Inn on Bay Street reported that someone broke into their vehicles overnight causing damage to them. Nothing was reported to have been stolen from one vehicle but items were stolen from the other.

Afternoon release: On Friday May 17 th , 2013 at shortly after 9:00 pm the Algoma Treatment and Remand Center contacted City Police to advise that an adult male did not attend as required for his intermittent sentence.

Afternoon news City Police picked up 25 year old Shawn LeBlanc of 115 Chestnut Street on an outstanding warrant. It is alleged Mr. LeBlanc failed to report for fingerprints as a result of a mischief charge back in 2011.

Arrest A 19 year old male was removed from a central area residence when police attended regarding a Domestic dispute. The Male was subsequently charged with Mischief under $5000 for causing damage to that residence.

Afternoon news At approximately 5:30 this morning officers attended the Lock City Dairy area on McNabb St. for a report of a horse running loose. A moose was located and scared back towards the bush line.
