Probation breach 22 year old Amy Solomon of Garden River First Nation was arrested in Garden River First Nation and transported to Sault Ste. Marie to face charges on an outstanding warrant for breach of probation.

Arrest: 31 year old Michael Corcoran of Kathleen Street in Sudbury was arrested hiding in the rear of his mother’s car earlier today in Elliott Lake. He was returned to Sault Ste.

Probation Breach On November 13, 2012 at approximately 10:30 pm Patrol Officers arrested Tina Waboose, age 23, and charged her with one count of Breach of Probation.

Minor collision A motor vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Great Northern Road and Northern Avenue at 8:00 am on the 12th of November 2012 resulting in both vehicles being towed from the scene.

This morning police were called to a residence on Laura St. for a break and enter to a garage. Officers learned that sometime overnight theives entered the garage and stole two power drills.

Afternoon News On November 10th 2012 at 2:45 am Patrol Officers attended a residenc in the west end of the city for a domestic dispute. Officers learned that a 35 year old male had assaulted his girlfriend by pushing her to the ground.

Assault A 35 year old male was arrested by City Police Detectives this afternoon for 4 counts of assault all with domestic implications. It is alleged these assaults occurred over a period of a year.

Intruders scared off by homeowner City Police attended to an east end residence earlier today when 2 males gained entry to the residence but were scared off by the male occupant.

Theft: Marlene St. Germain (age 32) of 361 Second Ave was arrested by City Police for outstanding warrants for theft under $5,000.00 and failing to appear in court.

Evening update A vehicle window was broken in at a residence on Central Park Avenue. * * * A male was captured on the school’s surveillance cameras entering or attempting to enter vehicles at FH Clergue School. Investigation is continuing.
