Reminder about Stolen Bikes The Sault Ste Marie Police Service would like to remind the public that when a bicycle has been stolen it should be reported to the Police.

Domestic Incidents 1) City Police arrested a 46 year old male yesterday in regards to a domestic related incident. It is believed that the accused attended at his ex-girlfriends residence and forced his way in.

Assault & Mischief 40 year-old Jason Stone of 321 Albert Street East (rear) was arrested on the 30th of August at 4:30 pm at his residence and charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm and one count of mischief under $5,000.00.

Arrested for Break in on Northland Rd 42 year-old Jessie Mandino of no fixed address was arrested on the 29th of August at 10:03 pm at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre and charged with one count of break, enter and commit and one count of posse

Armed Robbery at Wardlaw Fuels At approximately 3:32 am this morning city police were called to an armed robbery at the Wardlaw Fuels Gas Bar on Wellington Street West. A lone male entered the store brandishing a knife and demanded money.

The following two persons will be appearing in bail court this morning: 1) A 17 year-old male youth was arrested on the 28th of August at 2:20 am on Albert Street East and charged with one count of breach of a release document.

Break & Enter Suspect Caught Yesterday evening city police officers attended at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre at 800 Great Northern Rd and arrested a 19-year-old male and charged him with one count of break and enter.
