City Police were busy this weekend responding to numerous calls including 23 motor vehicle collisions, 40 traffic stops, 24 noise complaints and 12 domestic disputes.

Youth Charged with Personation, Possession & Breach Just after 6 am this morning a 17-year old female youth turned herself into City on an outstanding warrant.

Two males will appear in bail court this morning: 1) A 40-year old male was arrested yesterday morning on an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that in July of this year the accused threatened his ex-girlfriend and a male friend of hers.

Three persons will appear in bail court this morning: 1) A 39-year old male was arrested yesterday morning and charged with one count of assault, three counts of breach of probation and two counts of breach of a release document.

Two males will appear in bail court this morning: 1) A 28-year old male was arrested yesterday morning and charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm.

Mac's Robbed at Knifepoint Just after 4:30 am this morning a lone male attended at the Mac’s Convenience Store located on Second Line West and robbed the store at knifepoint. The male fled from the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

Two Youths with a Handgun Shortly after 11 am yesterday morning the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service received a couple of phone calls regarding a male with a handgun in the area of MacDonald Avenue near Pim Street.

The following persons will appear in bail court today: 1) 51-year old Harold Vincent of no fixed address was arrested yesterday morning on outstanding warrants for one count of obstruct justice and 5 counts of breach of release conditions.
