Knife robbery this morning at Mac's on Bruce Street Around 4:30 a.m. this morning City police attended at the Mac's Mart Store located at Bruce Street and Wellington Street East for a robbery. The lone clerk was not injured.

Two Counts of Breach of Release A 39-year old male will appear in bail court this morning in regards to a breach of a release document. Around 5 pm last evening City Police attended in the 300 block of Lake Street regarding two intoxicated persons.

Numerous Fraud Charges Laid Yesterday morning the Sault Ste Marie Fraud Office arrested a 40 -year-old female and charged her with several fraud related charges.

Arson Arrests Early this morning the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested three males and charged them with four counts of Arson. It is alleged that the males deliberately set four fires in the early morning hours.

Break and Enter City Police were notified yesterday morning of a break-in to The Tire People Shop located at 165 Drive In Rd. It is believed that culprits stole in excess of 50 transport truck tires.

School Secretary Charges On Friday April 8th the Sault Ste Marie Police Service Fraud Office charged 52-year-old Denise Wilton, of 621 MacDonald Ave., with Fraud and Theft Over $ 5,000.00.
