YOUNG OFFENDER ARRESTED On Friday a young offender was arrested at an east end residence for breach of recognizance, 2 counts of breach of probation and failing to appear for fingerprints.

SECOND GROS CAP SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT City police report a second snowmobile accident in two days in the Gros Cap – Red Rock area. It started as a missing persons report to police last night at 11:36.

Sergeant Steve Train at the Sault Police Service reports a very quiet night in the Sault. There was a young offender picked up on a breach of probation. And a taxi company dropped off a customer who was SO drunk that he still has not been identified.

PEDESTRIAN CHARGED City Police investigated a motor vehicle collision on Tuesday March 9th involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle. In the incident a pedestrian was crossing McNabb St. when a car struck her.

SNOWBALL THROWN AT COP 20 year-old Edward Joel Galbraith of 442 Northern Avenue was arrested and charged early this morning after he threw a snowball and struck a police officer.

OUTSTANDING WARRANTS Marty Mattila, age 31, of 1003 Allen Side Road was arrested yesterday on an outstanding warrant for Failing to Appear in Court. It is alleged that Mr. Mattila failed to attend court on Feb 9th.
