DOMESTIC VIOLENCE A 46 year-old man was charged following a domestic dispute in the city’s west end Saturday morning. The man is alleged to have pushed the victim to the floor of an apartment and then punched the victim several times in the face.

The City Police Service was called to a downtown location in response to a robbery in progress. At 1:55 this morning police arrested 22-year-old Elliot Southwind of 16 Terry Fox Place.

YOUNG OFFENDERS 2 young offenders were arrested and charged Friday afternoon on Great Northern Road when they were found in possession of 2 stolen bicycles. One of the young persons also had 4 DVD’S that were stolen from the Zellers store.

The Sault Police Service reports a very quiet twenty-four hour period. There is only one person in custody this morning. He was picked up for being intoxicated in a public place and will be released without charge.
