City police charged 4 persons with impaired driving over the weekend. Sarah Marie Mitchell, age 18, of 120 Hwy 552, Goulais River, is charged with impaired and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.

The City Police R.I.D.E. crew were out last night. There was one driver charged with impaired. Details will be available Monday. Other than the RIDE program activity, police had a quiet night and have nothing to report.

BREAK AND ENTERS Three separate break and enters were reported to police yesterday. The first was in the 200 block of Northern Avenue reported at 11:00 last night. The second was in the 100 block of Chapple Avenue.

VICTIM SERIOUSLY HURT IN ASSAULT Last night at 8:10, police were called to the corner of Wellington West and Wallace Terrace regarding an assault. They found a 21-year-old male seriously injured. The officers also located the three suspects.

TWO BREAK AND ENTERS City police are investigating a break and enter last night in the 100 block of Great Northern Road. A piece of concrete was used to break a window and gain access to a business. A small quantity of cash was taken.

HE THREATENED TO KILL HER Last night at 8:04, police were called to 185 Tancred Street, Apt #1, where a complainant advised she had been threatened. The suspect had been drinking and threatened to kill her with a gun.

THIEF CONFRONTED BY STORE OWNER On Saturday evening at 11:30, a young male entered the Hi Way Variety Store on Trunk Road. He was wearing a black balaclava, dark hat, and black jacket.
