MAN ARRESTED FOR KIDNAPPING Last night, police were called to the courthouse parking lot to investigate a report of a man and woman fighting. The female had been brought to the Sault against her will from her home in Azilda, near Sudbury.

City police had a fairly quiet night last night. Two people were arrested for being drunk in a public place. Police report no accidents overnight regardless of the snowfall.
