Algoma Basketball Association Women's League action continued on Thursday with a pair of games at Sault College. Lara Stilin scored 12 points and Katie Larue added nine to lead Primo Pizza past Brody's 40-35.

Sault native David Yukich became a first ever provincial golf champion over the weekend. Yukich, a high school teacher now residing in Kelowna, British Columbia, captured the inaugural B.C.

The Sault Ste. Marie Aquatic Club took a 17-member squad to Sudbury and captured second place overall at the East Side Mario's Long Course Invitational swim meet on the weekend.
