Break and Enters Reported Over Weekend A break and enter into a residence on Trout lake road occurred between the 26-28th of June. Stolen from the residence was a Lee Enfield 303 Rifle and a jar of coins. The rifle had been secured properly.

ROAD CLOSURE – HWY 17 W (Nairn Centre,ON) - Espanola OPP advise that Highway 17 at Nairn Centre is closed due to a serious motor vehicle collision. The road is completely closed at this time. No detour has yet been established.

BIKES LOCATED (Thessalon Detachment) Between Monday June 23rd and Tuesday June 24th, 2008 two found bicycles were turned over to the Thessalon Detachment. One was located on St. Joseph Island and the other was located within the Town of Thessalon.
