COLLISION RESULTS IN CHARGES A Sault Ste Marie man faces three criminal charges after a collision at the Government Dock in Batchawana. Yesterday at about 8:00 p.m. a pick up truck backed into second truck at the Government Dock in Batchawana.

LANDLORD AND TENANT DISPUTES Heyden, Ont., Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. had a relatively crime-free 24 hours since yesterday. Officers responded to three landlord and tenant disputes throughout the Sault Ste. Marie OPP patrol area.

CHARGES LAID IN HEYDEN FIGHT Sault Ste Marie OPP have charged a 21-year-old Sault Ste. Marie woman with four offenses after a fight at a Heyden home. Last night at about 10:00 p.m.

GUNS STOLEN IN BREAK AND ENTER Laird Twp, Ont., Sault Ste. Marie OPP is investigating the theft of handguns from a home in Laird Township over the weekend.

LOGGING ACCIDENT A logging accident occurred yesterday morning at 9:15 near Searchmont. Phillip Lemay, age 34 of Heyden, was seriously injured while cutting trees in Deroche Township and was taken to hospital in the Sault.

FATAL ACCIDENT NEAR WAWA The O.P.P. reports a fatal accident on the Paint Lake Road near Wawa yesterday morning at 10:30. Dead is 47-year-old Robert Adams of Elliot Lake.

Stolen Property Recovered Elliot Lake, Ont. On August 23rd, 2004 police received a complaint of two stolen outboard motors and a gas tank. The items were taken from the backyard of a residence on Hutchison Avenue.
