(1.)- Will the Co. be in jeopardy (2.)- I've had employees who always refused shifts ...complain that a couple of employees had 20 more shifts than them ... so for the next 20 "extra" shifts, they got 1st. crack @ them ... & I got 20 Refusals .... so I suggested that they Cease & Desist their complaints ... because they were treated fairly...

I am pretty much on call 24/7, but that's the price I pay for the job I do. I have had to work long weekend because things have unexpectedly broke. Its sad because its regular people who have pushed this so much. They "NEED" their netflix, internet and such and when it breaks they don't know how to go outside and play anymore...

If you accept the job you abide by the rules in place when you hired on. If you dislike the rules, don't apply or don't accept the position, simple.

I am sure this discussion will lead to all the anti-union people spouting off. The workforce today is full of selfish a$$holes who deserve every bad break they get. No sympathy here, ... you find sympathy in the dictionary between $hit and syphilis.

It's not just the workplace. It's the world we live in. Everyone's out for themselves.

Having a heart, and empathy for others, is all fine and good, until you realize that you'll always be the schmuck that gets used by toxic, and self obsessed, drama filled people.

This country has gone way too far... We have bred a lazy useless generation of young people whom do not want to work for their money. Google SNOWFLAKE GENERATION.... Pretty much sums up 80 % of the persons being hired were I work.

We also live in a time of the rich get richer and companies pay minimum wage and expect you to check emails and be available to answer calls in your time off. Pay me accordingly and provide me with a means to do so.

Work time is work time. Your time is your time. Workers and especially part-time workers get abused and taken advantaged to much.
