Our ancestors would be so proud of us, knowing we need our city's permission to have a responsible fire to sit around.
What a garbage society we've become.

The real problem is that this war memorial should be moved to a more respectful area.
I would say that the majority of the residents don't know what this memorial is.
It's on a sliver of land where parking is non existent traffic flow is fast and unforgiving.
Surrounded by nothing similar in nature.
The issue is not the adverts, the issue is our lack of treatment of these memorials over the course of time. Move it for the future generations, where it can be appreciated and respected.

City of Sault Ste Marie, remember your job is to help the people who pay you. Not this...

I'd rather be called sweetheart then some of the names I do get called.
I can only speak from my experience, over 20 years in heavy industries. I have never heard any of my female coworkers called anything inappropriate. They would call themselves fun names like princess, but I don't believe the issues are as problematic as described.

Don't know much about Scott.
But what I do know is the majority of the comments are so focused on where he's from instead of what he can do.
Technically your advocating for political deportation based on where he's from.
Do you treat new Canadians the same way?
If so, that's on you and your petty self.
Voting is and should be meritocracy and ideological alignment. Not where one is from.
Sad.

How soft are we getting. Everyone has a choice to send your kid to school, go into work, or call it a day and stay home.
Make your own adult decisions and stop trying to make rules to take away our choices.

Osap incentives high tuition costs. Want lower tuition fees, take government out of the picture. The market will correct itself. OSAP artificially creates a demand and passes the bill to the student.
