If you knew the Goulais River the mouth of the river changes year by year due to the sand bars moving. You can't even navigate a small boat to access the bay most of the time. The MNR will not allow any dregging to be done there so there is the problem. The river twists and turns and the banks eroide and wash down with no solution. Just watch and waite.

Yea, back in the 80,s someone blew up an ice jam at Kirbes Corners and caused the worst flood ever on the lower Goulais River, so leave things to nature and all will be okay. The river was changed when they built the new bridge on HWY 552 and all the major flooding now is always on the lower end, I live here and go through it nearly every year. So leave it alone. If you do something so stupid it will effect others.

Where are all these bikes to use the bike lanes? I think there were more bikes being used back in the 60's than today. Still got mine. What has happened in this town now makes me wonder, legalize pot? Why. Make everyone dumber! Look at Black Road now.

Were's all this bike traffic to merrit these ideas? No parking on the streets anymore? What's up in this town? No right turn lanes anymore? Curbing jutting out to cause problems at intersections? Why? Who is doing this? Reducing 4 lanes to two lanes will only reduce traffic flow and be less effective to the original ideas that where created.

My light turned green but I could not take my foot off the brake. On the other side of the light a truck turning left in front of me got mad and decided to go. As he did a dump truck barrelled through a red light going at least 50 mph nearly hitting him in the intersection. I'll never forget that day and I don't think he will either. My delay was not intentional, Something won't let me go. Thank God! Please be alert and don't be in a rush. Thanks for your story.
