On August 17, 2015 at 4 p.m. city police officers arrested 31-year-old Brian Blevins of Algoma Ave. The arrest was as a result of a search warrant executed at his residence and items recovered.

At 8 a.m. on August 17, 2015 city police arrested a 23 year old female on a domestic related mischief to property. It’s alleged that the female attended the residence of her ex common-law and damaged some of his property.

On the morning of August 16, 2015 patrol officers responded to a 911 call at a residence in the west end of the city. Investigation by responding officers resulted in the arrest of a 39-year-old male.

Saturday, August 15, 2015

Sometime overnight suspects attempted to steal a 2012 Ford F250 parked at a local hotel in the North part of the city. The suspects entered the vehicle and attempted to start it by using tools and physically manipulating the ignition.

On the 14 August 2015 Walmart Security Staff arrested a man stealing deodorant and lighters. A man was observed putting the items in his pocket while he paid for other products he had also selected. Charged with theft under $5,000.

On the 13 August 2015 at 7:40 a.m., City Police were called to the Sault Ste. Marie Airport regarding an inebriated male attempting to board a flight.

On August 11, 2015, city police responded to a residence on Gloucester Street regarding a male breaching the terms of a domestic related probation order. The accused is alleged to have communicated with the victim contrary to the order.

On August 11, 2015, at 2:30 a.m., City Police apprehended two males going through vehicles in the area of Koprash Court.

On August 9, 2015, city police responded to a domestic incident near Pine Street. It is alleged that a verbal argument became violent and the victim was assaulted and had to seek medical treatment.

City Police officers had occasion to check a 56-year-old male early this morning in the west end. It was determined that he was on conditions to abide by a curfew from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. As a result, 56-year-old Joseph Martone of Wellington St.
