On June 8, 2016 city police attended an east side residence of the city to assist a female in retrieving her belongings. While at the residence police encountered a male who police allegedly believed had been drinking.

On June 7, 2016 at 7:45 p.m., city police arrested a 28-year-old male on two outstanding warrants related to domestic incidents from 2015. The accused is charged with 7 counts of breach of probation.

On June 6, 2016 at 4:45 p.m., city police arrested and charged Elliott Southwind, 34 years, of Point Charles Road, Garden River, ON with theft under $5,000 and utter threats X 2.

At 1:50 p.m. on June 3, city police arrested and charged 50-year-old Geoffrey Chamings of Letcher Street. It’s alleged that the accused attended at the Joe’s No Frills and stole merchandise valued at $159. He was apprehended by a Loss Prevention Officer

On May 27, 2016 shortly before 7 pm a home owner on Rushmere Dr. contacted police complaining of a break and enter. The culprit made off with a small quantity of cash. In a second break in, a resident on McGregor Ave.
