A 20-year-old male was arrested today at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre while serving an intermittent sentence (weekends) for domestic related offences.

Vehicles were entered in the Boundary Road / Market St. areas overnight. Cash and personal items were stolen. All vehicles entered were left unlocked. Arrests 50-year-old Albert Harman of Allen St. was arrested at Joe’s No Frills on Korah Rd.

48-year-old Robert Desbois of Grosvenor Avenue was stopped last night while driving his motor vehicle on Wilcox Avenue. A records check showed that he was wanted for fail to appear for prints and a suspended driver.

Afternoon news 21 year old Tyler Wood of 189 Spadina Ave. was arrested on an outstanding warrant for importing a prohibited weapon X 2, possession of a prohibited weapon X 2 and breach of probation.

Afternoon news A 17-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear for prints in February of 2014. He is now scheduled to appear in court on May 27 2014.

Afternoon news Vehicles in the Indiana and Ohio Sts. Area were entered overnight. Cash, a passport and insurance slips were stolen. At approximately 4 am this morning, City Police officers were checking males in the downtown area.

On April 16, 2014, the accused Emily Nethery, age 24, was at the Walmart Store at 293 Bay Street. It is alleged that the accused concealed movies and gum and left the store without paying.
