City Police Beat

23-year old Deiter Prairie-Chicken of 212 St. Georges Ave. W was arrested by City Police this morning and charged with Robbery. It is alleged on the 14th of March, the accused posted an item for sale on facebook.

On March 13, 2015 at 4:40 pm Patrol Officers arrested and charged Kelsy Frolich, age 22 of Third Line East with Uttering a Forged Document and Breach of Probation.

On March 12, 2015 at 7 p.m., city police officers responded to a report of an impaired driver in the east end of the city. On arrival at the Husky East gas station, officers located the driver slumped over the wheel of his vehicle.

On the evening of March 11, 2015 patrol officers responded to a report of a male and female arguing in the west end of the city. Prior to police arrival, the male party had left the residence driving a motor vehicle.

In the early morning hours of March 11, 2015, officers responded to a report of a male and female arguing at a residence in the north end of the city.

19-year-old Wesley Jones-Chapman of Old Garden River Road was charged with impaired driving, having over the legal limit and possession of a narcotic early this morning.

On March 9, 2015, an accused young person turned herself in at the City Police Service regarding outstanding warrants. The accused was arrested and is scheduled to appear in court on April 7, 2015 at 9:30 am.

On 8 March 2015, at approximately 2:30 p.m, city police attended at 178 Albert St. E apt. 2 attempting to locate Robbie Delorme (36yrs) of 49 Borron apt 2. There was an outstanding warrant request for Delorme.

Early this morning Patrol Officers attended to the area of Queen St. E and Carmen’s Way regarding a vehicle in the ditch. The lone occupant in the vehicle was attempting to reverse his vehicle out of the ditch.

On March 5, 2015 Sault Ste. Marie Police officers arrested a 26 year old male who was wanted on a domestic warrant for threatening and breach of probation.
