Evening news A 15-year-old male was arrested early this afternoon in regards to weapons and threatening charges. It is alleged that on the 13th of September the accused was involved in an argument with his father.

Yesterday morning a report of a break and enter was taken from Hollywood Joe’s on Great Northern Road. The break in occurred between 8 pm on the 10th of September and 8 am on the 11th of September. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.

Arrests On September 11, 2013 at approximately 7:50 a.m. officers attended at the Home Depot at 530 Great Northern Road regarding an erratic driver.

Appeal for Witnesses to an Assault Officers from the Investigation Services Section of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are currently investigating an assault that took place in the early morning hours of September 4 th .

Afternoon news A business in the 200 block of Northern Avenue was broken into overnight when thieves smashed out a front window. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the register.

A break and enter was reported to a residence in the 200 block of Brien Avenue. It is unknown at this time what, if anything was stolen. * * * A break in was reported to a residence in the 700 block of Second Line West.

Afternoon news On September 7th, 2013 at 8:30 am Police Officers stopped a vehicle on Shannon Rd. for a traffic violation.

On September 6, 2013 in the early morning hours, a vehicle was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Elmwood Ave. Stolen was a 2004 Honda Element black in colour. This morning a resident of a home on Lansdowne Ave.

September 5 evening news St. John’s United Church on John Street reported mischief. Vandals spray painted graffiti on the outside walls. At 3:10 p.m., The Sault Ste.

On September 4 at approximately 2:00 p.m. Sault Ste. Marie Police responded to a motor vehicle collision.
