On friday evening, two Station Mall employees reported their wallets stolen from their purses. Both employees were busy with customers when the theft took place. * * * City police officers investigated two domestic incidents overnight.

Evening news A 34 year old male was arrested at 6:00am this morning when he turned himself in to police on an outstanding warrant for failing to re-attend court on charges stemming from a dated domestic incident with his female partner.

Evening news Arrests 48 year old Mark Hellstern of Toronto Ontario was arrested at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Station and charged with one count of Criminal Harassment.

Arrest On December 12, 2012 at approximately 5:40 am police were called to the area of McNabb Street and Grove Crescent regarding a female and male arguing. The two combatants were familiar to police.

Break In A west end residence was broken into sometime between midnite and 5:30 am on the 11th of December. The owner returned home to find their side door forced open. The only thing taken was a small quantity of pills.

Internet communication with an underage female leads to charges A 29 year old male was arrested by officers from the Technical Crime Unit on the 10th of December and charged with 4 separate offences dealing with internet specific crimes.

Road Closed - serious collison investigation The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service currently investigating another serious motor vehicle collision and would like to advise the public that Queen Street East is closed from Simpson Street to Leo Avenue.

On the 8Dec12 at approximately 0525 hours a robbery was reported on Boston Avenue. Information provided at that time was that a Yellow Cab driver had been robbed by his customers on Boston Avenue.

Arrests : On December 6th at 5:24pm officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested Gordon Leonard, age 46 of 770 Bonney Street, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Leonard had his parole revoked for pre-existing charges.
