Break ins: A break and enter was reported in to a business in the 400 block of Queen St. E. No information was received if anything was stolen. A break and enter was reported from overnight on Megginson Drive. A garage and residence was entered.

Arrests: A 31 year old female was arrested and charged with one count of assault and one count of mischief in regards to a domestic incident. She will appear in court on February 13 2013.

Arrest: A 37 year old female was arrested this afternoon and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that female assaulted her 3 year old daughter by shaking her.

On Saturday, January 5,2012 Andre Joseph Cormier 23 years old of 317 North Street was arrested by Sault Ste. Marie Police officers when it was discovered there was a warrant for his arrest by another police service.

Arrest: City Police arrested a 26 year old male on the 4th of January on domestic related charges. It is alleged the male contacted the female complainant two times on the phone while being on a recognizance not to communicate with her.

Break Ins: A residence in the 100 block of Eastern Ave. was broken into sometime last night. A side door was kicked in and 2 laptops and a bottle of whiskey were stolen.

A 64 year old man was arrested by detectives today and released with a court date of 04 Feb 2013. It is alleged that on or about the 31st of October 2012 the accused sexually assaulted his four year old grandson.

New monument damaged City Police attended at the Marconi Club on Albert Street West this morning and took a report of mischief. On the 28th of December the Marconi Club unveiled a commemorative monument.
