On December 28, 2012 at 12:10 pm Patrol Officers were called to the Pee Wee Arena Parking Lot on Northern Ave. Officers learned that thieves smashed a window of a vehicle in the parking lot and stole a purse.

Arrest: On December 27, 2012 officers arrested a 24 year old for theft. It is alleged that the accused stole a credit card and a debit machine. The theft occurred on or about the 17 day of December, 2012.

Evening news A residence in the 200 block of Gloucester Street was entered on between December 25th and 26th. A PS3, speakers, jewellery and cash were taken.

Gift card theft City police received a report of a theft of gift cards from an office at an apartment complex on Dacey Rd. It is reported that Christmas cards containing the gift cards were left in the office last Tuesday.

On December 22, 2012 Sault Ste Marie Police Officers charged 23 year old Lucien Charette of 229 Poplar Avenue with utter threat to cause death or bodily harm and breaching his probation order. On December 21, 2012 Lucien

Robert Ramo (age 31) and Jeramie Trumble (age 26), both of 81A Chapple Ave were charged by patrol officers with possession of a controlled substance X 2. They will be appearing in court on the 21 January.

18 collisions Sault Ste Marie Police report there have been 18 motor vehicle collisions since 9:30AM due to weather conditions.

Sexual assault: A 66 year old male is in custody and will be in bail court today charged with sexual assault, sexual exploitation and sexual interference.

Arrests: A 24 year old male was arrested by City Police officers Tuesday afternoon and charged with 1 count of domestic assault.

Trailer stolen A tandem car hauler flatbed trailer was stolen from a business on Great Northern Road - licence plate K4230E. Vehicle window smashed A vehicle window was smashed on Northern Avenue overnight.
