City Police Beat

Bail Court 1) A 19 year old male turned himself into Police this morning. Jordan Roy Porter of 603 Second Line west was arrested and charged with one count of, break, enter and commit as well as aggravated assault.

Bail Court 1) 18 Year old Michael Brian Leclair was arrested by the Barrie Police Service on outstanding warrants related to a home invasion on the 22 April 2009 at a home in the 200 block of North St.

Robbery On the 28 April 2009 at approx. 4:53 pm a male entered Merrett’s Pharmacy at 314 Wellington St. West with his face covered with a bandana and armed with a handgun.

Assault & Mischief 45 year old Scott Levis Peter Wright of 403 Northland Rd will appear in court on the 1st of June 2009 to face charges of assault and 2 counts of mischief. It is alleged the accused attended at a residence at 314 Albert St.

Impaired Driving An 86 year old man will appear in court on the 25 May 2009 charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle as well as consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that the accused was operating a motor vehicle on Friday evening.

MISSING 72 YEAR OLD MALE LOCATED On the 26th of April 2009 just before 10 am Mr. Belleau was located just east of the City and is fine. The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance.

Female to appear in Bail Court: Yesterday evening city police were called to Mark’s Work Wear regarding a female shoplift. Upon arrival officers arrested a female verbally identified as Roxanne Sutherland.

Missing Person Marilyn Taylor located The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is advising that missing person Marilyn Taylor was located today in the cities east end. We would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Marilyn Taylor.

Missing Person The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is seeking the assistance from the public in to locating a missing female. Missing is Marilyn Taylor 59 years old.

Break and Enters Patrol Officers were called to a residence in the 500 block of Trunk Road yesterday with regards to a break in. A door to the residence had been forced open and a computer tower and a small amount of cash taken.
