City Police Beat

Bail court: Last evening at approx.9:00 pm city police were called to a west end address regarding a domestic dispute. As a result of police investigation a 41-year-old male was arrested and charged with three counts of assault.

Domestic Incident A 24 year old male will appear in bail court this morning after being called to investigate a domestic related assault.

Theft & Mischief A 16 year old male will appear in court on the 26 May 2009 after being arrested and charged with two counts of theft under and one count of mischief.

Criminal Harassment A 25 year old male will appear in bail court this morning charged with criminal harassment and 2 count of assault.

Possession & Trafficking On the 7th of April 2009 members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s Street Team as well as the Canine Unit executed a search warrant at a residence located at 26 Albert St. east apt. #2.

Break & Enter 37 year old Scott Michael Erdman of 262 Wellington Street west will appear in court on the 11 May 2009 charged with break, enter and theft and also breaching his probation order.

Bail Court 1) A 22 year old male will appear in bail court today charged with threatening death and threatening to destroy property. It is alleged that on the 31st of March 2009 these threats were made during an argument.

Bail Court 1) A 17 year old male will appear in bail court today after a domestic related incident on the 02 April 2009. It is alleged that the male became involved in an argument with his girlfriend.

Assault, Forcible Confinement & Breach A 38 year old male will appear in bail court today charged with the following offences, assault causing bodily harm, forcible confinement and two counts of breaching his probation.
