City Police Beat

UPDATE: Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision Yesterday evening, the City Police along with the Ontario Provincial Police, the Sault Ambulance and the Sault Ste Marie Fire Services responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision.

There will be two people attending in bail court this morning. 1) A 17 year old male has been charged after being located by police in the company of an individual which he was on conditions to remain away from.

Impaired Driving 40 year old Arvo Leppanen of 25 Wellington Street West Apt#3 has been charged with 1 count of impaired driving and 1 count of consuming alcohol over the legal limit.

The following two persons will be appearing in bail court this morning: 1) A 55 year-old male was arrested on the 21st of November at 8:11 am at his downtown residence and charged with one count of assault.

The following four persons will be appearing in bail court this morning: 1) City police were called to a local motel on the 20th of November at approximately 7:14 pm regarding a female that had been assaulted.
