City police had a rather quiet twenty-four hour period with just one arrest. One person was charged with impaired driving following a single-vehicle accident on Fifth Line at Great Northern Road.

City Police had a very quiet night last night. Officers observed a van parked on Goulais Avenue. When they investigated, they found 34-year-old Stephanie Bean of Desbarats behind the wheel.

SCHOOL BUS BUMPED There was a motor vehicle collision yesterday morning at 9:30 a.m. involving a school bus. The school bus was stopped to pick up students in the 400 block of Wellington Street East when a car slid into the rear of the bus.
