City police had a fairly quiet night last night. There were a couple of arrests for being intoxicated in a public place as the local watering holes closed for the night. One was also charged with resisting arrest.

STOLEN TOOLS RECOVERED Yesterday afternoon, patrol officers arrested a 26-year-old male who, it is alleged, had pawned a variety of tools stolen from New North Greenhouses on August 14th.

YOUTH ASSAULTS POLICE Yesterday at approximately 3:57 pm police officers were called to remove a 17-year-old male from a residence on Manitou Dr. He had became extremely agitated and upset with having to leave the residence.

BREAK AND ENTERS Yesterday morning, patrol officers were called to Tri-Laundry-Mat, 701 Pine St. for a break and enter complaint.

ONE ARRESTED IN MAJOR CREDIT CARD FRAUD Yesterday at 1:55 p.m., detectives from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, Investigation Services Fraud Unit, arrested 36-year-old Jonathan Alabi, of 103-1916 Weston Road, Toronto.

MAN WOULDN'T LEAVE-POLICE CALLED Yesterday at approximately 1:50 a.m., Michael Tremblay, age22, of 10 Donna Drive, went to a residence in the 600 block of Second Line West and knocked at the rear door.
