City police were kept busy last night. Several people were arrested for liquor infractions and there were numerous "noisy party" complaints. Two break and enters this morning on McNabb Street are now being investigated.

City police report several arrests were made last night. All were liquor related and minor in nature. There were no accidents.

LIKED THE FOOD BUT DIDN'T PAY Yesterday afternoon, patrol officers arrested and charged two females with theft. They tried to leave the Zeller's restaurant without paying for their meals.

TRUCK HITS BICYCLE At approx. 7:54am yesterday, the Sault Ste Marie Police Service was called to a motor vehicle collision between a GMC pick-up and a bicycle on St.George's Ave. The truck struck the cyclist, who required medical attention.

MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT Yesterday at 10:45 pm, patrol officers arrested and charged Curtis Daynard, age 19, of 389 Pim St. with assault, threatening death and breach of probation as a result of an incident on August 23rd.

SUSPECT CHARGED WITH STEALING FURNITURE On Tuesday, September 3, the landlord of a residence that he rented furnished, checked his rental property after a tenant moved out and found that most of the furnishing had been removed.

NEIGHBOUR CHARGED WITH THEFT Yesterday at 3:08 pm, patrol officers were called to a residence on Churchill Ave. for a theft complaint. Officers were advised that a neighbour had attended at the victim's residence and asked to use the washroom.

City police arrested two overnight for intoxication. Other than that, it has been very quiet. There was a two-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon that sent one to hospital with minor injuries.

City police were kept busy with calls of a minor nature last night. There were several arrests for intoxication. There were no serious accidents.
