The Soo Greyhounds continue to struggle in their efforts to find the win column. On Sunday afternoon in Ottawa, the Greyhounds saw a 3-2 lead evaporate in the third period as the Ottawa 67's rallied for a 4-3 victory in overtime.

After concluding the round robin with a big win, the Soo North Stars dropped a tough overtime decision in the quarterfinal round of the Sudbury Big Nickel Major AAA Hockey Tournament on Saturday.

The Soo North Stars have quaranteed themselves a berth the quarterfinal round of the Sudbury Big Nickel Major AAA Hockey Tournament. On Friday, the North Stars secured a tie and a win to improve their record to 2-0-1 in the tournament.

The Soo Thunderbirds and Sudbury Northern Wolves combined for seven goals in the third period on Wednesday night in the Nickel City which saw the Northern Wolves escape with a 6-5 Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League win.
