City Police Beat

A 37 year old male was arrested and will be appearing in bail court tomorrow.

28 year old Rosemary Pheasant of 28 B Wellington St E was observed walking in the downtown area. It was learned that she had warrants outstanding for her and she was arrested.

Arrests/Charged Persons: On the 17 of February at approximately 5:45 a.m. City Police conducted a traffic stop on North St. A records check of the driver revealed an outstanding warrant for Breach of Probation.

26 year old Laura Perrault of 62 Capp Ave was charged with one count of Assault Causing Bodily Harm and one count of Unlawfully in a Dwelling House. It is alleged that the accused and the victim got into an argument over a parking spot.

Arrest: On Feb. 15th at approximately 3:30 pm Patrol Officers located a 52 year old wanted for Breaching his Probation.

On Feb. 14th, 2013 Patrol Officers were involved in a traffic stop on St. Georges Ave. in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Officers’ learned from the driver of the motor vehicle that he did not have a drivers licence.

A male entered the Food Basics on Pine Street and it is alleged that while there he stole two packages of cheese slices valued at $9.98.

Arrests Officers from the City Police School Unit arrested a 14 year old male youth at one of the City’s high schools earlier today.

21 year old Jean Paul Yates was arrested at the court house today on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear for prints. Mr Yates will appear in bail court tomorrow.

Arrests/ Persons Charged On February 9, 2013 at approximately 9:30 pm officers were dispatched to a domestic violence incident. It is alleged that the accused and the victim were engaged in a verbal argument.
