City Police attended several motor vehicle collisions today. A vehicle struck a traffic light standard at Queen St. E. and Brock St. Two vehicles were involved in a collision at Pine St. and Ontario Ave.

Arrests: A 21 year old male was arrested and charged with one count of assault and two counts of breach of probation. This was in regards to a domestic incident on January 12 2013. He is scheduled for a bail hearing on January 16 2013.

Evening news On January 13, 2013 at approximately 9:12 am officers attended in the area on Queen and Brock Street. Officers observed a lone male walking. The officer’s had dealt with this individual in the past.

City Police attended this morning to seven reports of mischief to vehicles from overnight. All the incidents were in the Cory Ave. and Manitou Drive areas and involved vehicles being spray painted. No charges have been laid at this time.

Vehicle collisions: The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service responded today to three separate motor vehicle collisions that resulted in injuries. At approximately 10:55 a.m. a collision was reported at the intersection of Queen and Brock Streets.
