Assault: On January 18th, 2013 it is alleged that Joanne Jensen, age 49 of 121 MacMurray Ave. of Sault Ste.Marie, Ontario was charged with one count of assault.

9 motor vehicle accidents were reported to City Police over the last 12 hours. City Police continue to remind motorists to use extra care and take extra time when driving in poor conditions.

Traffic charge: City Police attended to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Willow Ave. and McNabb St. at 11:30 a.m. on January 27th. A 2011 white BMW, driven by Lu Zeng of 34 Palace Dr. was proceeding west on McNabb St.

Evening news A break and enter was reported to a business on Yates Avenue. The entry was gained between 6:00 p.m. on 25 Jan 2013 and 9:00 a.m. on 26 Jan 2013. A tool chest and a quantity of tools were taken.

Thefts: A wallet and binoculars were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2000 block of Millennium Court. * * * A pair of skates was reported stolen from a vehicle on Bellevue Avenue.

Thefts A theft of a play station was reported in the 700 block of Wellington St. West * * * A theft of firearms was reported in the 2000 block of Queen St. East.

Afternoon release: 46 year old male, Lonnie Gallant of 234 Brien Ave., attended at Food Basics on Pine St where he allegedly stole approx. $23.00 in food items.

Arrests/Charged Persons: On the January 21, 2013 the accused Tricia Robinson age 25 of 646 Queen Street West, unit #2, while incarcerated at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Center, threatened to kill a corrections officer.

Evening Report: On January 14 th , 2013 William Trudeau, age 22 of Rankin Reserve, Ontario failed to appear for court on charges of Mischief and Assault. Subsequently a warrant for his arrest was issued. On January 21 st at 10:45 am Mr.

There were no arrests in the past 12 hours. A theft of gas was reported from a business in the 300 block of Great Northern Rd. A motorist pumped twenty dollars worth of gas into their vehicle and drove away without paying.
