POLICE SEEK HELP Yesterday’s News Report: Last night shortly before midnight, City Police responded to a residence in the City’s east end regarding a report of gunshots. Police and ambulance personnel located a 23-year old female in the residence.

BREAK AND ENTER A 13-year-old youth will appear in court on August 10 after city police arrested him yesterday after responding to a break and enter call.

POLICE USE DNA EVIDENCE Yesterday, with the assistance of DNA evidence, city police arrested Trevor Seaton, age 18, of 449 Charles Street for a break and enter from August of 2003.

CAUGHT IN RIDE PROGRAM 19-year-old Ryan Longo of 37 Digby Crescent will appear in court on August 9th after being stopped by the RIDE program late Friday night. At approximately 11 pm on July 2nd Mr.

SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGE City police received a call just before 8:00 last evening regarding a domestic dispute. When officers arrived, there were additional accusations made about a sexual assault.

BITES OFFICER On Wednesday at approximately 9:00 p.m. police were called to the General Hospital to assist with a patient. While trying to calm him down, the accused became aggressive and assaulted one officer by biting him on the hand.

INJURIES IN ASSAULT At approximately 7:00 yesterday evening, an assault took place in the area of Andrew Street and John Street. In the incident, a 36-year-old male was assaulted by three males carrying a hockey stick, a crow bar and a beer bottle.

ARRESTED FOR THEFT At 3:11a.m., City Police were dispatched to an address in the 100 block of Churchill Avenue and advised, by the complainant that a male had just broken into a rear shed and stolen their dog.
