HOLD UP AT NCU: Yesterday at 1:45 pm a lone male entered the Northern Credit Union on Bay Street and made off with an undisclosed amount of money. The bills are mainly 50’s, 20’s, 10’s and 5’s in denomination.

ASSAULT CHARGES (LOTS) A 19-year-old male was charged with assault after it is alleged he grabbed the victim by the arms and threw her to the couch and floor numerous times.

City police had a fairly quiet night last night. There were three domestic dispute calls, one intoxicated person was arrested, and a young person has been arrested and charged with several counts of Breach of Recognizance.

STOLEN CAR At 5:30 this morning police were called about a vehicle driving on its rims with sparks flying everywhere. Police soon found the vehicle on Northern Avenue and arrested the two occupants when they discovered it was stolen.

NOT A GOOD DAY A 36-year-old male will appear in bail court today on drug related matters as well as domestic violence matters. The male has been charged with assault after it was alleged he slapping the victim and pushed her into walls.
