MAN CHARGED WITH THREATENING DEATH On August 15 between 1 and 1:30 pm, the victim, a female in her early twenties, had her life threatened by her ex-boyfriend.

City police had a fairly quiet night last night with only two incidents to report. LOUD AND ABUSIVE Officers were on a routine call on Bruce Street around 11 o'clock when a bystander began shouting abusive language and creating a disturbance.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE Yesterday at approximately 12:00 pm, the accused, a 20-year-old male was having a domestic argument with a female on a west end street corner. The argument escalated to physical violence.

THREATS SERIOUS On the 20th of Aug. 2003 at approximately 1:00 p.m., Adrian Smith age 19, an inmate at the Northern Treatment Centre threatened to kill one of the staff. Police Officers attended and arrested and charged Smith with threatening death.

PENALTY BOX NETS TWO On August 19th, 2003 at approximately 11:20 a.m., Police officers were called to a west end location in regards to an assault where a disagreement with the victim escalated to physical violence.
