The Sault Ste Marie Police Service responded to over 95 calls for assistance yesterday with most of the calls being of a minor nature. BREAK & ENTERS One break and enter was reported in the 900 block of North Street.

BUSY DAY FOR POLICE The Sault Ste Marie Police Service was kept fairly busy yesterday responding to 110 calls for assistance. Most of the calls were of a minor nature.

MISSING BOY FOUND The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service announced this afternoon that 14-year-old Thomas Jolley has been found in good physical condition. The Sault youngster had left home June 24th following an argument.

Your City Police Service is enjoying a very quiet holiday Tuesday today. Last night was steady with routine alcohol offences and a couple of Breaches of Undertakings. There were no accidents or injuries overnight.

AUTOS DAMAGED ON WEEKEND The Sault Ste Marie Police Service responded to 213 calls for assistance over the weekend. Several of these calls were in regards to vehicles damaged.

POLICE ARREST THIRD ROBBERY SUSPECT Last night at 10:40 p.m., patrol officers located and arrested Andre Laine, age 18, who was the third accused wanted in connection with a confectionary store robbery on June 20.

POLICE ASKING YOUR ASSISTANCE WITH ROBBERY INVESTIGATION At 12:20 am on June 20, police officers were called to a robbery at a confectionary store in the city's east end. Two males had just robbed the store using a firearm to threaten the clerk.

ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING In the early evening yesterday, Patrick Shawana, age 25 of 240 Albert Street West allegedly stole bookends from Hallmark Stores, a candle holder and a movie from Decor Art, and a model race car from San Francisco stores.

MAN ESCAPES AT COURT HOUSE Yesterday, shortly after 11:00 am, the accused, Adrian Smith, age 19 of 145 McNabb Street was in lawful custody at the Court House.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE Yesterday at approximately 8:30 am, patrol officers were called to a couple's home for a domestic disturbance involving a 48-year-old male and his wife.
