City police had a routine Saturday night. Two people were arrested for liquor violations and one domestic dispute resulted in an arrest. There were no serious traffic accidents or injuries in the past twenty-four hours.

Sault Ste. Marie's Police Service reports a routine twenty-four hours with a total of 16 arrests. Fourteen were for minor offences and two for Impaired Driving. Police will have details for you on Monday morning here on Sootoday.com.

BREACH OF PROBATION On Wednesday, the accused, an 18-year-old male from James Street breached his recognizance by not adhering to his curfew of 10pm - 7am daily. The accused returned to his residence at 4 am yesterday.

BREAK & ENTER On or about the 2nd of May 2003, the accused, Sally Cooper, age 41 of 230 Pittsburg Avenue, allegedly entered the apartment of a person she knew in the city's west end.

BOY CRASHES STOLEN VAN Yesterday morning at 10:55 am, patrol officers arrested and charged a 12-year-old boy, from the downtown section of the city, with Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of House Breaking Instruments and two counts of Breach

THEFT CHARGE At 4:20 pm yesterday, patrol officers were called to the 49th Apparel store at 480 Queen St. East where a female allegedly had attempted to remove two dresses from the store without paying for them.

CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER Early Saturday morning, just after midnight, the accused, a 16-year-old male from the city's east end became involved in an altercation with a 19-year-old male, also from the east end.
