City police arrested two overnight for intoxication. Other than that, it has been very quiet. There was a two-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon that sent one to hospital with minor injuries.

City police were kept busy with calls of a minor nature last night. There were several arrests for intoxication. There were no serious accidents.

SERIOUS INJURIES IN COLLISION Yesterday at 4:15 p.m., 45-year-old Terrance Constantineau was struck by a westbound pick-up while riding his bicycle at the intersection of Wellington West and Lyons Avenue.

SUSPECT TURNS HIMSELF IN TO POLICE On Monday at 4:05 p.m., Police attempted to stop a vehicle that was being driven by David Maitland, age 27, of 331 Cheshire Road. Maitland pulled into his driveway and ran from the police.

MAN INTERFERES WITH POLICE Yesterday at 12:40 am, officers were investigating an occurrence on Cooper St. when a male intervened.

Your City Police Service has had a very quiet twenty-four hours. This morning at approximately 6:00, police noticed a car go through a stop sign on Terrance Avenue. As the police car approached, the suspect vehicle took off with police in pursuit.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ARREST On August 25 (last Sunday) at 2:51 a.m., an 18-year-old male was pulled from his car and assaulted by two male suspects. The males assaulted the victim by repeatedly kicking him in the head and face area.
