The Sault City Police Service reports one of the quietest nights of the year last night. One male was arrested for a liquor infraction and he was in the cells all by himself this morning.

Outstanding arrest warrants John William Massicotte, age 19 of 17 Boston Avenue was arrested in regards to outstanding arrest warrants.

BREACH OF PROBATION A young offender will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested for 5 counts of breach of probation. The young person was on conditions of a probation order to be in their residence at 9 pm and to attend school.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT A domestic dispute yesterday afternoon resulted in a 33 year-old man being charged with assault and breach of probation.

Sault City Police Service had a very quiet, routine Saturday night. There was one impaired driver charged and one person arrested for intoxication in a public place. That is the third impaired driver charged in the past two days.

ASSAULT WITH MINI FLAME THROWER At 11:50 yesterday, Sault Police Officers were called to St. Mary’s High School to investigate an assault-with-weapon complaint.

Gun incident at west end school Yesterday, March 25 at 12:30pm the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service was called to a Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board Elementary School located in the west end regarding a student with a gun.

YOUNG OFFENDER ARRESTED A young offender will appear in court on April 27th after being arrested yesterday for failing to comply with a condition of his undertaking.
