Road Closure Due to Broken High Pressure Natural Gas Line: City police would like to advise the public that Fourth Line East from Old Goulais Bay Road to Great Northern Road is closed to vehicular traffic due to a broken natural gas line.

Domestic Related Arson Investigation: At approximately 3:03 am this morning city police and Fire Services attended to a residence in the downtown area regarding a fire. This fire is being treated as an arson investigation and is domestic related.

POLICE SERVICES ACT CHARGES Constable Micheal Rose, a 5-year member of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service, has been charged under the Police Services Act as a result of an internal investigation.

Outstanding Warrant The only arrest entry at this time is for 20 year-old Ashley Swanson arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 4th of June at 12:10 am on Wellington Street West. She has been charged with one count of fail to appear for prints.

Bail Court: 1) On the 28 May 2009 at approximately 12:30 a.m. 30 year old Ancil Peter Dedier attempted to gain entry into the United States via the International Bridge but was refused entry due to an outstanding warrant for a breach of recognizance.
