CAUGHT WITH STOLEN PROPERTY On November 2nd, Steven Bowes, age 41 of #311-138 East St., allegedly attempted to sell a clothes iron, to Cotton Colour on Gore Street. This iron was stolen on November 4th from Life's a Stitch on Queen Street.

IN POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY Yesterday, a 14-year-old female was found in possession of a purse that had been reported stolen to police on October 31st. It had been stolen from a local High School.

YOUNG THIEF ARRESTED On September 10, a 17-year-old male stole a purse containing identification and keys belonging to a female victim from the Smart Food Shop, 473 Queen Street East. The victim was able to identify the accused.

QUIET NIGHT AT POLICE STATION Your City police Service had a fairly quiet twenty-four hours. There were five arrests, all of a minor nature.

City police have been kept busy answering fender-bender calls. The winter weather produced 21 of them over the past twenty-four hours. There were no serious injuries and damage was minimal.

FEMALE ASSAULTS ANOTHER FEMALE Yesterday at about 3:25pm, a 17-year-old female exited a motor vehicle and attacked another female of similar age.

ARRESTED AT CUSTOMS Yesterday at approximately 11:50am, police officers were called to Canada Customs at 125 Huron Street regarding Brandon Kicknosway, age 26 of 262 St. James St.

BROUGHT POT TO SCHOOL Yesterday at 11:52 am Patrol Officers were called to a local elementary school where a youth was found to be in possession of narcotics. The youth, a 13-year-old male, brought a substance believed to be marijuana to the school.

CAUGHT BY MALL SECURITY Yesterday at approximately 2:00 p.m., Mark Reed, age 34 of no fixed address, allegedly stole a Uniden telephone from a business in the Station Mall by putting it in his jacket pocket and then leaving the store.
