INJURIES IN ASSAULT At approximately 7:00 yesterday evening, an assault took place in the area of Andrew Street and John Street. In the incident, a 36-year-old male was assaulted by three males carrying a hockey stick, a crow bar and a beer bottle.

ARRESTED FOR THEFT At 3:11a.m., City Police were dispatched to an address in the 100 block of Churchill Avenue and advised, by the complainant that a male had just broken into a rear shed and stolen their dog.

SOME BAD DUDES CAUGHT A 16 and a 17-year-old youth will appear in bail court today. Both youths have been charged with 8 counts of break and enter and 8 counts of breaching their release documents.

City Police Sergeant Steve Train says it was a fairly quiet twenty-four hour period. Police responded to a “domestic dispute” call at 8:30 last night. A 36-year-old male allegedly assaulted a female in the central part of the city.

BRASS KNUCKLES STILL POPULAR A 15-year-old youth will be appearing in bail court this morning after being arrested by City Police at 2:30 am. Police attended in the downtown after receiving a call of a male acting suspiciously.

DOMESTIC CHARGES A 20-year old male will appear in bail court this morning regarding a number of domestic related charges. On the 16th of June it is alleged the male assaulted his girlfriend by grabbing her arm and pushing her to the ground.

City police were kept fairly busy last night. They were called to a residence for a domestic dispute complaint. A female had suffered a nose injury.
